It covers 6,555 acres of prime Central Florida land. The blue glow off the Cypress trees in the morning is where it got its name, located beneath Farm 13. Though this lake is not ideal for swimming it does provide a paradise for the bass fisherman. It holds some of the cleanest water in Florida which makes a perfect home for largemouth bass, bluegill, catfish, chain pickerel, redear sunfish and warmouth. Blue Cypress is best known for its Florida Trophy Bass. The record still stands at an impressive 18 pounds, 2 ounces. Your tour is guided by a professionally licensed captain that operates in a 21-foot boat. All the equipment is included such as rods and reels (both left and right handed) and artificial lures that you can use and lose at your pleasure. We also are ready and equipped for any emergency at hand. The tour includes fishing instructions and casting lessons for beginners and advanced techniques for the experts.
