Snapper Creek is located in central Miami-Dade County in the cites of Sweetwater and Kendall. The main canal is 12.3 miles long, averages 12 feet in-depth and ranges from 50 to over 100 feet in width. It begins near the intersection of Hwy 836 and the Turnpike Extension and runs southeast to the S-22 salinity control structure near Parrot Jungle on SW 57th Ave.
Your tour is guided by a professionally licensed captain that operates in a 21-foot boat. All the equipment is included such as rods and reels (both left and right handed) and artificial lures that you can use and lose at your pleasure. We also are ready and equipped for any emergency at hand.
The tour includes fishing instructions and casting lessons for beginners and advanced techniques for the experts. This fishing adventure lasts for 8-hours with options to start at 7 am but is flexible to your schedule depending on availability;
While you are out on the water, all the boats have coolers on board with ice and bottled water to keep you hydrated while reeling in fish. There's plenty of space to bring snacks, lunch and your favorite beverage. Alcohol beverages in cans are preferred but all alcohol is permitted.
