This Lake Okeechobee trip is closely located to South Florida. The upper reaches of Palm Beach County keeps the lake within driving distance for the entire tri-county area. Belle Glade is a beautiful city home of historic Slim's Fish Camp, one of the best on the Lake.

Trophy largemouth bass are the most predominate fish on the lake that draws people across the globe. It is a world-renown lake for its bass fishing and each year it continues to get better.

Your trip is guided by a professionally licensed captain that operates in a 21-foot boat. All the equipment is included such as rods and reels (both left and right handed) and artificial lures that you can use and lose at your pleasure. We also are ready and equipped for any emergency at hand.

The tour includes fishing instructions and casting lessons for beginners and advanced techniques for the experts. This fishing adventure lasts for 6-hours with options to start at 7 am to 1 pm or 12 pm to 6 pm but is flexible to your schedule just request; also never worry about rough seas or seasickness on this tour.

While you are out on the water, all the boats have coolers on board with ice and bottled water to keep you hydrated while reeling in fish. There's plenty of space to bring snacks, lunch and your favorite beverage. Alcohol beverages in cans are preferred but all alcohol is permitted.

Capt Mark Rose took my wife and I for a 6hr trip in Okeechobee today. The fishing was a little tough with the weather front coming through but we managed to catch close to a dozen fish with two pushing 7lbs. Capt Mark is an excellent guide on many of the southern Florida lakes that we will definitely book again.
