Kenansville Lake, also known as Lake Cypress, spans over 2,000 acres of fertile Florida waters just east of Lake Kissimmee near the small town of Kenansville. Conveniently located within driving distance of Orlando and Central Florida’s major attractions, this hidden gem offers a more peaceful and less pressured fishing experience compared to its larger neighboring lakes.

Kenansville Lake is widely known for producing quality largemouth bass, along with healthy populations of bluegill, redear sunfish (shellcracker), and black crappie. Its rich ecosystem and consistent water levels make it a reliable fishery year-round, especially for anglers targeting trophy bass.

The lake features vast stretches of submerged hydrilla, peppergrass, and emergent vegetation that create ideal ambush points for bass. Areas around the lake’s shoreline vegetation, open pockets, and canal cuts provide excellent opportunities to flip soft plastics, throw topwater lures, or drift live wild shiners—especially during the cooler months when bass are actively spawning.

Your trip is led by a professionally licensed captain aboard a fully equipped 21-foot fishing boat. All gear is provided, including high-quality rods and reels for both left- and right-handed anglers, along with a wide selection of artificial lures. Safety is always a priority, and the boat is fully outfitted with all necessary emergency equipment.
